Only 7.500 per year??

Todays NR: "Total production of Phase I, Phase II and Phase III is expected to be approximately 7,500 kg per year".

Has not been promised for 2 years that the total production after completion of Phase 3 would be approximately 20,000 kg? Or did I get something completely wrong?
Comment by fmab011 on Aug 06, 2019 11:14am
That's exactly what I thought. I'm baffled right now. Unless someone wrote this NR wrong, this is not what I wanted to hear. I expected transparency when Dixon was hired! If I've missed something here please clarify quickly.

Perhaps this is because the last investor deck mentioned the annual production of ALL the Invcitus facilities. The NR refers exclusively to the plant Acreage Farms at Edson. That would make sense, since one usually calculates with 1,000 kg per 10,000 square feet. If you add now the earnings of AB Ventures and Cannandia, the original calculation could be correct.

I just printed off every PR on Phase 3 updates going back a year. Remember, there is a "cautionary note regarding FORWARD THINKING statements. Every company has to cover its rear end. It was a year ago, almost to the day, that Invictus secured the 25.5 million dollar loan from ATB to fund expansion of Phase 3 and 4 in Peers, Ab...east of Edson. A lot has happened since then. Good post fmab011. I agree 100%. But I still see small steps in the right direction. Health Canada is a disaster for young companies like INVICTUS. It usually takes half a year to get a license, which is actually prohibitive! The most important thing in the coming months will be to raise buyers for the cannabis that is currently being produced. The key to success would be a GMP certification, but ...more

I completely agree and I'm certain Dixon is fielding calls from a few of the major players. Has an offer been made? Perhaps. But how much is this company worth at this point. If its only worth the 3 month rolling average of the share price ....YIKES. There are so many variables involved in a merger or acquisition. This is no different than a superstar athlete who has publicly stated that he no ...more

Dear fmab011, if it comes to an acquisition in 2020, I'm convinced that we would all benefit from this deal. I am also completely unconcerned about a possible purchase price. INVICTUS already has a lot to offer. What counts in this still young industry is production and time. As far as production is concerned, capacity will increase step by step until the beginning of 2020, and when I talk ...more

When product starts shipping to Germany under the 2,000 Kg/yr for 5 yrs deal, you likely won't be as concerned the company will be sold. Trevor knows this company is worth a lot more or he wouldn't have put in his own money at this time. Where are you getting information that shows banks won't lend them money?

Most cannabis companies have to rely on alternative financing arrangemnents. It's not uncommon for these lenders to open large short positions in anticipation of upcoming financing so they can cover the position directly from shares and warrrants recieved in the offering. The fact that Dixon used his own money to insulate the price from manipulation is a very bullish sign in my own opinion ...more

Hi Yowza123. Don´t put your money on this german deal. They germans won´t wait until 2021 before getting  the first shippment, they have to build up a company themselves. First INVICTUS have to finish Phase 3 - east and west wing - afterwards they can go for another cultivation licence which will take another several month before a cultivation can even be started.   By the ...more

The numbers discussed only apply to half the building which is complete the other half is said to be completed by the end of the year adding what one would assum from the PR would be another equal 5000 KG totaling 12500KG still less than 20K but better than 7500. I would add that they have really stepped up comunication with investors. The best thing to do would be to email them and they have been ...more
