KAT Financial Results: these are likely, in my opinion, to be made available in tandem and coincident with Glencore's (see below) thus shutting down any prior arb that was available due to the two companies former practice of announcing on different dates with Glencore management openly discussing DRC production on earnings calls ahead of actual Fin Results yet being publicly available from majority owned KAT. I expect this practice was identified by the OSC, too, as unacceptable. So it will cease. So as to KAT earnings, let's follow the signs; they are particularly good: Glencore is currently trading higher up over 4% in London trade on expectation that Company will report their "most profitable six months ever" when the company publishes first-half results Wednesday. And this after - arguably - Glencore's *worst* 6 months ever as a public company.
