My estimate is that we will have cobalt shortage as early as 2020 and severe cobalt shortage starting from 2021-2022. If so, cobalt price will have big rise from 2021, The timing can not be better for Katanga Mining. KAT will reach full capacity for copper next year and cobalt in 2021.
