Big moves to the upside
Folks, the Street is finally taking notice which tells me that a big announcement is close at hand!
From Q2 earnings call...."Quicksilver's Horn River project has the most upside for the company. The transaction activity for similar assets to ours has been robust over the last 6 to 12 months, and we believe those sales are good markers of value. After proving the quality of our resource, we have been focused on securing good, long-term markets for the large amount of gas we have discovered. Our Canadian team has assembled an outstanding plan and playbook to follow to achieve this goal. We're in the formal bidding stage of the process to secure partners for the project and have significant interest from a number of parties. Because of the integrated nature of the project, the JV process has taken time. But fortunately, the project has improved over the last 12 months and we've been able to attract a larger group of interested players. Much like our successful sale in the Barnett, we believe the wait will be worth it."
