goldcorp paid 1.3 billion for  gold eagle's 5 million ounces (more or less)  under the bruce channel  of red lake.

plus they are spending at least another 500 million on the new hoist house, headframe, infrastructure and the tunnel to feed the gold from cocheneour to the mill in balmertown.. they are about 5000 feet underground . maybe 1 more year of construction before they start to produce.
