Different math? Really? How do you figure that? Did you do that sum mentally in your head? Did you use a calculator? Which brand of calculator do you use?
Would you like to be walked through the steps of this very simple concept?
Take the current Q3 processed tonnes 95,587 and simply divide by Q2 processed tonnes 56,520
95,587 divided by 56,520 equals 1.6912 This is rounded down to 1.69
The 1 in the 1.69 figure represents Q2's processed tonnes. The .69 represents the increase in processed tonnes from Q2 to Q3. Hence this translates into a 69% increase in processed tonnes.
I'm not sure if you are just having conceptual difficulties, or perhaps you picked up Bruce's calculator by mistake. I feel I should forewarn you, that in the future, please do not under circumstances, use either Bruce's calculator or his dictionary. LOL.
