The lithium market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 12.0% from 2022 to 2030 to reach $18.99B by 2030. One of the companies I’m following is LBNK LBNK.v who most recently announced the commencement of direct lithium extraction mineral processing test work on brines from the Boardwalk Project. 


Results are expected to be used as inputs to the process design of a facility to treat raw brine and produce battery grade lithium chemical products in the NI 43-101 PEA. LBNK sees this as a key stepping stone towards the design of a commercial facility that they anticipate will produce battery grade lithium chemical products. One to be watching.
