There's always hope on the sidelines: BHP, Teck, or the Chinese. But the Chinese won't pay over the odds.

I still say that there is more chance that there is going to be some expansion of the claims than there is of a takeover.  I think it is 100 times more likely that they will add more claims or JV before there is a takeover.  More than that, I don't think that Lumina is currently a likely candidate for a buyout, at least not before they have expanded their claims to the north.

I don't think that there is any manipulation in the shareprice on this downward stint. It looks like a logical correction to me. But the correction will be shortlived if the claim gets bigger because that is likely to be the moment that Lumina will become a credible candidate for a buyout.

And yes Lumina stock is cheap. Back up your trucks and buy if it gets any cheaper than this.
