Final assay results

Final assay results

In Lumina's last press release it was stated that "Final assay results are expected in late October".

Looks like they'll have to mention the JV when they publish their "final assay results" because, let's face it, they aren't the final assay results. They won't have got back the assay results for the two new JV'd claims.

They definitely can't get the assays back from the JV'd claims before the end of October. That's not possible. Not even if Superman were to fly the cores to the assay office because they still won't have completed all the exploration drilling. Not in less than two weeks.

Clearly, what they really mean is the final assay results of Lumina's claims excluding the two in the JV. Even though they knew that the JV was going ahead when they published that last press release.

The "National Instrument 43-101 ("NI 43-101") mineral resource estimate is expected to be completed in late November".  That is what sets a minimum share price value for Lumina on a cents per pound of copper basis. Lumina's share price will move up if that minimum value is higher than the current share price no matter what the rest of the stockmarket is doing. By then they are also likely to have back some results from the JV'd claims. Which should add momentum to any interest generated by the updated mineral resource estimate.
