Good to see dave on this bullboard as well. Been reading many of his posts on the SMB board and usually encouraging input. Im long this stock, looking for a minimum of 12 bucks and hopefully a $15 buyout in the near future.

Yes, thanx dave for good insight as usual......That said we will see more than 15 or we won't see a sold sign!!!!! $20 give or take a couple.....Beatty takes care of his shareholders, I don't expect things to change. Get ready to have a little party amongst this misery we call a market!!!!! All signs pointing that way;)

It is promising that somebody is trying to think about what is and what is not possible. Re: "open" to the south Environmentally protected salar is what lies to the south. BHP owns more of that than Lumina does. Re: who needs who "guess" is not good enough. You must know that after Salta publishes assayed drill results that Lumina's deposit, as outstanding as it is, will ...more

Obviously, there is mineralization outside Lumina's claims, but it will take a giant drilling program to find the high grade zones. Can Salta and Cascadero handle that? How big a drilling program do they have? There are many potential mines scattered through the Andes, but unless someone funds a massive drilling progeam at the right location, it is worthless. Lumina's management has shown ...more

Salta/Cascadero-specific questions should really go on the V.CCD bulletin board.  Their last press release highlights  their recent drilling programme and there is more drilling scheduled. But this was their first Taca Taca drill programme. They have some supportive shareholders who have been predominantly buying through private placement (which ofcourse has not affected their shareprice ...more

Lumina can only drill in to one third of its own claim due to environmental restrictions. There are a lot of different ways to estimate these calculations. However, we know that Salta can drill in to 12x as much land as Lumina can. Let's assume that Salta only finds 6x as much copper as Lumina. (To be honest, I expect them to find 12x as much copper as Lumina). 50% of Salta is owned by ...more

Remember this press release by Lumina: Wed Jun 6, 2012 Lumina discovers two new copper zones at its Taca Taca project, Argentina -- Intersects 222 meters grading 0.83% Copper Equivalent Those first three holes in the table are 20 metres from the Lumina/Salta boundary. Coincidentally, the first hole is also the most significant to the neighbouring claim. Methinks that Lumina has already proved what ...more

Correction: "... when Lumina drilled the first four holes in that table." (the holes were drilled by Lumina)
