The problem in Canada is that these white collar crimes do not bring jail time. Rob a bank for 10K you get 10 years in the joint. Defraud the public out of millions and you get trading bans and fines. This system we call justice is broken. These traders and management (if/when folund gulity) should be serving life sentences as someone's bit@ch. 

Let's see how tough and mouthy these theives would be behind bars and stripped of ever ill gotten penny.

Yet without tough penalities - this willful and malicious theivery will continue. Unfortunately the politicians are in the pocket of the market and the regulators and tougher sanctions are but a dream. imo
