Demarko,

I was under the impression that nobody at Leeward was taking a monthly salary.  I had emailed Marchand before to confirm that the business would be handled in the same manner as was before when JIm Davis was running the show.  At that time there was no salary being paid, and I was led to beleive by Marchand that there would be no salary paid out to him or anyone else. 

Where did you read about the salary paid?
