All his efforts at LOY were for his sole benefit . Nobody is the better for what he created. The schools that he acquired are now in a more desperate situation than when he bought them.
It would be wrong to blame him exclusivley. He was allowed to do this knowingly. Accreditation bodies in Canada were very much aware of the scandalous accusations against him and his outward disregard for accreditation standards. Now these bodies will lose revenue because they turned a blind eye, and the industry which they are supposed to promote and protect falls futher into disrepute.
The Board and inside investors were all aware of the littany of accusations against Mr.Ryu yet did nothing.
And now he is on top with all the money and they have lighter wallets, a smeared reputation, and stuck with the burdens of a company that is so organizationally and financially messed up
that it is bound to crash like a freight train off a cliff.
sorry to say but he is the only winner .
