I tend to agree that the new management team doesn't offer much in the form of relevant paper pedigree, and the new chairman looks like he's a 30 something (nothing at all against young people running companies, just hard to understand how he'll bring the networks).

Who would have brought them in in the first instance, and why this gang and not some other group?  

Why would they choose a team with links to Ryu?

As the second largest shareholder, Ryu and his votes would most likely be needed to change management and board members in this way.
