New LOY Teacher's Strike Post on FB
From PGIC Teachers:
We have now been on strike fighting for a fair agreement for 5 days and Loyalist has not contacted the negotiating team to return to the bargaining table. The teachers countered the employers 15 year wage grid proposal in May. There has been NO counter back from Loyalist. The ball is completely in your court Loyalist Group to return to negotiations.

Is PGIC a profitable school generating net profit of 15-20%? If it's not then management must consider how to raise revenues-ie. rent changes, tuition increases, extra tutoring charges, staff wages, class size, use of rooms in off hours, shift work and double enrollments-10 hour days (two shifts/day). Or sell the school for a profit which would end the union and the jobs of the present staff.
