Excellent Point Konzelmann (Advantage needed cash)I think you made an excellent point below, Konzelmann, when you stated simply:

"Advantage took a low price because they needed cash only."

I read some earlier comments further below, from other members, that felt because Advantage sold their Longview shares at a lower price, it was some kind of testament and declaration of the overall value of Longview.

But I never felt that viewpoint was quite right.

I'm glad those other members brought up the issue -- as it was an important question, and it did get me also thinking/asking why Advantage sold out at a lower price. 

But again, I think you've given the best answer to that question thus far. 

Based upon other factors I've seen regarding the management at Advantage, and their overall track record of this whole ownership of Longview saga, I have to say, I think the answer is as you put it, plain and simple:

Advantage f--ked up, and they needed cold hard $$$!

It happens in the world of business.
