Personally, I would not feel comfortable taking the SGY shares. My methods of valuation tell me that SGY is overpriced, and I would rather be a seller of SGY than a holder. I like the story, and it could very well turn out fine in the end, but to me, the current price of SGY is pricing in continued growth. I never pay for growth. I'd love to own it, but only for the right price. And I'd rather not own it than to own it at the wrong price. I don't pay for growth, I wait for something to hit depressed levels where I can get the growth for free. Yes SGY has fallen from its highs, but unfortunately I still consider it overpriced and would not hold it..
