CNQ reports termination of Montney sale process due to insufficient bids: This morning, CNQ announced the termination of the process to monetize or JV their Montney acreage in the NE BC liquids rich trend. Our research note will be out shortly, but in the meantime its worth considering the potential read throughs to other relevant pure play Montney players in Canada. Negatively impacted (NE BC Montney players): · Advantage (AAV); currently in an ongoing process to sell Montney acreage · Crew Energy (CR) - biggest negative read through as non-sold acreage fully surrounds them
