Jan div announced
Longview Oil Corp. ("Longview" or the "Corporation") announces that the January 2014 monthly cash dividend will be $0.04 per share and will be paid on February 17, 2014. The record date for the dividend is January 31, 2014, and the ex-dividend date is January 29, 2014. The dividend is considered an "eligible dividend" for Canadian tax purposes.

Could it be because I was buying yesterday? Not really... In any case, LNV was on my watch list for a few years but only after the recent announcement of increased capex and a slight dividend cut I decided to start buying.

It's surprising that the name actually fell after the div cut. Yes, they have debt - but management is doing all the right things...
