shareholders coalition

I am studying the option of setting up a shareholder coalition to push the board to accept a deal if the price is right, and in case the board was to refuse a proper premium from a credible buyer, the coalition can eventually vote in favour of a deal if it comes to a vote.

If you own over 100K shares and you are supportive of a deal, send me a note so we can review our options. Please note this is purely a consultation at this point and not a solicitation to form a group.

If an agreement is reached between shareholders, and if we were to exceed the 10% collective ownership threshold an early warning report may need to be filed.

Regards,

Nawar

Sorry, can't join... I spent more than $100K on this, but way short of 100K shares. In general, I beleive active shareholders are important to keep the board and management honest. I think, they screwed AAV shareholders by accepting $4.45. Hope this will not happen to LNV stakeholders and I hope the underwriters will not rush to sell or settle for a quick profit.

Seppelt, I think the shareholders in both companies will be ok in the long run. Having said that, the recent turn of events for both companies is very interesting. I was a shareholder in both companies, but sold my position today in LNV. I plan on buying more AAV next week. Kherson

Seppelt. I fully agree, it is vital that shareholders are proactive when it comes to the affairs of their companies. So many companies operate as ownerless enterprises today with little or no accountability to their shareholders. I will be publishing my first book in June, where I will be discussing my views on corporate governance, shareholder activism and my experience as an investor and ...more
