I think the biggest reason Longview had not been snatched up earlier was the Advantage ownership overhang.  It could very well be that there is more than one interested party now that overhang is gone the circling party(s) start there courting.  Whomever bought the +-20% clearly is in the driver seat with the first shot at it.  Tough to say what exactly happens, however, at a price of $4.90 per share I think the risk to reward is attractive with about a 10% divy to help smooth the bumps out over a year.

I would think that if aPublic O/G Company purchased 9.3 million shares @ 4.45 (41.3million) in cash, they would have to make a statement to their shareholders.  Flooring

Flooring, the purchase can only take place once the secondary offering is closed. As of now they have only been allocated the shares, the payment and the transfer of shares to the buyer will take place at the closing date, which is scheduled for Wednesday, February 26th. The buyer of this block would have to file an early warning report by the 27th; I expect them to issue a press release in ...more

 Nawar,the way many have been writing, it seemed that the purchase of the shares was a done deal by the suitor. Thanks for the clarification. Would there be a hold period for these shares? Flooring
