Two mistakes caused this down day?

Though we could see a rise into the close, IMO, the reason LLEN is not attracting more interest today is because the company made two mistakes with the very good earnings release and the CC:

1) Issued the PR yesterday after the close instead of this morning

2) Held the CC at noon, EST.

They are too small (and unknown) to stay in people's minds overnight, other than existing investors and shorters, and waiting for roughly 19 hours after filing to talk about the future is just too long.

If you are going to hold a CC two-and-a-half hours after the open, then file the 10-Q and issue the PR at 6:30AM EST on the same day as the CC. Issuing the PR in the AM would also probably cause the folks at In Play to issue one of their little blurbs that would go to another large group of potential new investors, and since those "go away" after a few hours, would still have been active at the time of the CC.

At the very least, they should have issued another PR this AM reminding folks of the CC.

As it is, it's likely that only current investors and shorters listened to the CC.

Would like to believe that, but on a 400k day, it was still a short controled bid/ask....the mm is alowing the shorts to control everything just for the business. Period. The CC was a nervous wreck, I have never heard the officer stumble and stammer so much as Fong did. I did sell 50% of my position as there just is no reason to hold that many shares with such poor interest on the buying side ...more

Fong is a stutterer. I've noticed it every time I've heard him speak. He's fine when he's reading his prepared statements, but the stammer becomes apparent once he's in the QA&A. It means nothing as to his veracity.   I wouldn't hold out hope for insider buys for two reasons:   1) Most of the big insiders receive some shares as part of their pay package 2) All ...more

you hit it, it is "too complicated" to trade or score a profit...I will give you a hint on my next play and it is in NG, but not CHK.....altough a drop under 15 has my interest. Just was not a very Professional CC, Ian was good....but I am closing the door on this one, at a substancial loss. Check back in 2014 for possible shareholder value. GL

".but I am closing the door on this one, at a substancial loss."   Sorry if I take this with a grain of salt, but you have said you were saying goodbye to LLEN several times before, and there's always a [lower'] price at which you come back.

In case you were not aware the short interest follows the posters, always got to send them mixed signals. But i am tired of the poor stock preformance and am moving to another high volume, clean play, American NYSE stock.   There are no plans by management to move the SP. Lethargic and stagnant are not good to trade on.   GL
