RE:Fission suing Dahrouge
RE:Fission suing DahrougeI really liked this company but as soon as I heard about the lawsuit and looked at the details, I exited before any more damage. When you are hired by a company and use their data to enrich yourself at the expense of your employer, I think the courts would interpret that as a conflict of interest. The fact that Dahrouge claimed Fission properties that had lapsed may very well be irrelevant. I saw a similar situation happen to two silver companies in Argentina where the lawsuit was actually heard in a BC court. The court decided against company A that used company B's data to stake ground which company A later acquired. The BC court awarded the acquired property of company A to company B. I was shocked by this ruling that virtually ruined company A. I lost money on that deal and vowed to never own another company that ended up in the same situation. I cannot say if the legal issues are 100% the same but it doesn't pass the smell test. Lakeland will probably be successful at some point, which will only make any lawsuit more difficult if in fact a court ruling is made against them at some point. Fission might just end up getting even richer if they were awarded the disputed properties acquired by Lakeland.
