RE:RE:We are heading in to an inflationary cycle

RE:RE:We are heading in to an inflationary cycleThe Fed and other CB's have been painting themselves into a corner for the past 2+ decades, actions taken that were not inflation related, so they were never forced to do anything but add liquidity. Now that inflation has reared up they face a very difficult task of weaning punch drunk markets (and borrowers) off of the cheap money that has been provided, you are seeing the froth in the indexes this past while.
The general rule in normal markets reflects a lower POG when the USD gets stronger, that typically reflects higher interest rates, but in an inflationary cycle the herd movement is towards PM's for wealth preservation as assets like houses, cars, etc devalue when liquidity dries up.
Those who don't have a bald spot and gray hairs may well migrate to things like BTC and other cybers, or follow the Reddit crowd into their favs, but these can be hugely risky for anyone who cannot afford to lose retirement wealth.
You will see froth in the price of commodities, we are seeing it now with dramatic pullbacks as we saw in POG the other day, but the general trend will be to higher, IMO. We saw a shaky US employment number this morning, it points to problems like Omicron, and supply chain, but it means the inflationary cycle is in play.
