I'm still impressed they managed to run this into the ground with gold at $1950. Guess it's true, mining companies will always find a way to produce gold at a loss. If gold is 2k,they will figure out a way to lose money and produce it at 3k. I thought it was a bit early in the cycle for management shenanigans, so I hope this isn't a taste of things to come sector wide....

Justask, did you work in this mine? If you did , could you please explain the fast track sill initiative. Also, with Dumas as a mine contractor why wouldn't they have been more vocal to management?

yes I did work there at one time and with contractors one thing they cannot be is vocal if they wish to remain on site as it is the companies sandbox and either play by their rules or find another sandbox to play in and the fast track sill initiative is a one last desperate attempt at some survival cash that's is the layman's terms for that
