This sale did not happen in Q2 2012.  The fact that production is flat from Q2 2012 to Q3 2012 when they brought 52 new wells onto production tells me one of 3 things:

 

1.  Declines are higher than expected, and by expected I mean 35%

2.  The new wells brought online weren't good wells

3.  The hopeful scenario is that most of the 52 wells were brought on during September so their incremental prodcution adds aren't fully reflected in the September average boe/d number.

The disposition is only relevant when comparing year over year.  I'm more concerned about current year activity, specifically the wells being drilled most recently.
