RE: RE: This move by PBG is not clear. Disgusted, why? They've been talking about this for over a year. I thought that it would have positive initial reactions on both stocks but right now PBN is being sold down to increase the spread instead of both going up but PBG going up by way more.
The only thing that's changed from PBN's perspective is that the shares will now be more widely held, and some of the new shareholders may not elect to participate in the DRIP (PBG was recently 100% in the DRIP). This will impact cash to a degree, varying depending on DRIP participation and could potentially impact the dividend yield down the road.
All that said, if PBN meets YE production guidance, cash to pay the divi shouldn't be a problem, granted prices reamain at a reasonable level.
I'm buying on a day where everyone is selling.
