RE:Q1 Report Or Another Management Proxy Solicitation Call?

RE:Q1 Report Or Another Management Proxy Solicitation Call?
I think you have captured the essence of the struggle long term shareholders are facing. I laugh at all the bantered hype on a .40 cent pop in the share price when this stock is down $ 28.00 from the launch of the company a little over 4 years ago. Am I happy about todays move, of course. Do I ever expect to see this hi $35.00 again not a chance. JW talks about getting back on the growth phase, This company was never on a growth phase as we are at almost the exact same level of production as day one 4 1/2 years ago with the exception we have  approx 1 billion dollars more debt and 18 % more shares o/s. With its Petrobakken/Lightstream history it is simply not credible that they can execute where they never have in the past
I received " the call " from Kingsdale and they must be desperate as they pleaded for me to vote my 13000 shares to support management's proposals. That is not going to happen. There has been a lot of talk about the companies ability to vote shares, I will give JW credit for clearing the air over this issue. Management cannot vote shares where proxy authority has not been conveyed. Withholding votes by dissident shareholders is a important step to bring attention to governance that approved compensation and performance schemes that are laid out in the management circular.  It would be nice for institutional investors to step up and  do the right thing.
