In regards to the fool.ca article you posted, or any other article for that manner praising LTS' high netbacks.  No credit should be given to LTS management for increasing their netback quarter over quarter or year over year unless the increase is due to a reduction in Opex. 

Price volatility is unpredictable these days and their netback could just as easily have gone the other way (as it likely will this quarter).  I do give them some credit for having higher netbacks in general because they strategically got into areas that produce a higher quality light oil in the first place.

They should not be relying on price to save them, they need to focus on reducing opex and obviously improving capital efficiency (and I would like to see them reduce G&A, as many of us have commented the salary increases, bonuses and other incentives (warrants and options) award to senior management for poor performance is disgusting.
