I'm holding PHM and have a close non-board, non-market buddy that bought in just under $1 after the tank and I convinced him to open an TFSA account. I lent him the cash, interest free. We go back a long time....
Imagine my shame when it tanked? He could see it drop everytime he logged in to his online banking. Told him to ignore it for now. And really, I'll be the guy taking the loss there because I"ll only take the loan back or the lesser amount.
He's so poor living paycheck by paycheck. The only guy I know that does that (long term, sentimental buddy). I've made it, he hasn't. Was really hoping this would give him a boast. He really needs it. Today, it sits at 70 cents (2/3) while the sharks here circle and play games.
That's on top of my own shares which at one point was very high.
So to everyone who think I was paid during my relentless posting marathon, late last summer, well,
no I wasn't paid but I was paying for my rookiness. I had skin in it and a whole lot more.
You were quite bearish there predicting what? 30s on PHM which we never saw. You covered and are long here now?
I've done ok with PHM myself. Cutting my loses before the big tank and trading it back. Too unpredictable to trade for someone else so he's position hasn't changed one bit.
I actually like Hoyt and hate sales slime Dalsin because he was off on a mega yatch spending the gain of his "promotion". So I have very mixed feelings here even if I'm in the money myself on PHM overall (I rode it early 2015 and bailed when it downtrended).
As stack, or someone else said, "this should have never reached $2 or fallen below $1" that's the best summary of PHM from my perspective and why I went loony at sub $1 for a while. I increased my ventures stock smarts from near zero to about 50% as part of my . I trust PHM as much as I trust you Ocean. But amount the trash you posts there are scraps of goodness there but not enough to avoid the ignore button so unless you want to continue to be the queen of ignores, you might want to clean up your act and use your experience for good.
And I knew you were related to the StealBozo gang. And you also have one demented ties to that guy who bangs his head on the wall and you know what... That's a story for another board.
Anyway, I won't be commenting on SH. Too scary. Going back to read only. Hope the posting on PHM continue to be up to standards of the WCL, gibbons, stack and others. Factual, intelligent and non-misleading.
