BREXIT! Flight of European investors to Canadian oil!

Watch.  This will have a positive impact for north american asset based stocks especially in the recovering resources, energy and oil.

The Brexitsher are just using unrelated news to try to drive this down.  Pathetic.

survivor2015. This is a risk off event. Very negative for risky assets. Oil is already down over 5%. Go buy some gold today buy stay away from recovering resources, energy and oil.  I'm not sure if you were serious or joking in your post.  More countries will leave the EU going forward. This is not a good event for world growth. IT will definitely hurt oil demand.

Very serious.  Brexit is a nightmate for the UK but it's way overhyped. Nothing changes, none of the trade stops.  This is not like the drain that Greece was putting forward with its default. And certainly if I was an investor, I would find recovering stocks and companies like oil and LTS. The $2.40 book value is not made up.  Look it up.  Even at 50% discount, you get a ...more

The key statement in your post is " if I was an investor". It's clear that you are not. Book value is not the metric you want to be using to evaluate an oil and gas company.  Brexit does change a lot of things, there are reasons while oil dropped almost 5%  yesterday. There will be other countries leaving th EU. Look at the decline in foreign bank stocks, that will ...more

Survivor2015 and Bushog are the same poster. Where else can you find 2 guys using book value while evaluating oil companies. Put them both on ignore emmitt.

there is one other using book value as well - somewhat entertaining that they think this is a no-brainer 10 to 40 bagger.  I am hoping for survival first then increase in oil prices and for them to recover, but it won't be easy.  If they can survive for a year or two the assets might get them a higher price, but right now it is a minor factor.

Emmitt, it's clear that you are a duplicate account for PeterWright who is a complete fake in using the CEO's last name.  I recommend that all LTS shareholders report you for violation to Stockhouse rules.  These lack of enforcement makes the bullboard a dangerous place for regular investors. And I have done very, very well investing at the lows in cycles.  Made a fortunte ...more

Guys book value is not a short term consideration - it holds very little weight.  Longer term if oil goes higher and they can figure out how to pay debt lower and increase production then asset value will mean more.  Right now they need to get funded or if they were to sell out I think it would be for a small premium.  I think there best bet is to work on getting funded and that may ...more

"Only way to get a decent offer would be with competition to buy them out".  Oh, ok.  So you work for the competition? Who? CPG, WCP, RRX or private equity all on the take over & acquisition buying spree? Whitcap bought some of the Husky Saskatchewan assets, CPG has bought from LTS in the past and are likely eager to scoop up this $38M market cap company that has $3B in ...more

I still think they will go up and survive, but I just don't see this being a 10X to 40x bagger short term - how do you justifya price of $1 to $4 like about 3 of you suggest?

Don't put words in my mouth fake investor.   Since you "appear" to be a long term holder, what's your price target on accouncement of asset sales and/or refinancing?
