Too long a base formation with an upward trend in the stock with positive volume characteristics on both the TSX and the OTC from a technical analysis point of view. On top of that there is the pending deal overhanging the stock that is more likely than not to add significant future value. I think it would not be a good idea to bet against Phil Frost and his colleagues based on their past history.
It is one thing to trade the stock playing the rise and profit taking dips for short term gains. I think that this is what Curvy was indicating that he is doing. For those of us who are long term investors, the best move is hang in there until after the merger takes place and then see what the outlook is likely to be and make a decision to hold or sell at that point in time. That may a good time to take some profits and cover our original investment in the stock and let the rest run sometimre into the future. Only time will tell.
