RE:RE:A pretty strange acquisition for an exploration companyGheet, I think you have every right to be concerned about the SciVac deal. Biotech is a tough arena for those of us who are not biotech specialists to really understand. The PGLC acquisition fell out of the same relationships and was an appropriate investment for LVN. We also picked up some financial strength in some of the investors who are now on the LVN board which should all be good for us in the long run. I have no doubt that the VBI merger with SciVac added some product diversification, talent and improved funadamentals for SciVac which should prove helpful in the long run. The people running the company appear to be wealthy, knowledgeable and competant with solid credentials in the biotech arena.
The most difficult thing for us to evaluate is how the FDA and other governmental approval processes will work out in the end, and how long it will take for the approval process to be completed. II is somewhat comparable to forecasting the weather, the next earthquake, the presidential election results or a change in interest rates. We are living in strange times right now and with all the manipulation of information going on by governments, financial institutions, central banks, the mainstream media and the rise of social media we have reached a point of not knowing who we can trust.
I believe that Ron and Vic are holding on to their shares of VBI and have added to their shares of LVN so they are voting with their feet. I decided to simply follow in their footsteps.
