Potash Junior has Political Clout
Potash Junior has Political Clout------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, Trigon's International Potash Corp [TEL.V] has added multiple properties surrounding Mosaic Company and Intrepid Potash's producing deposits - all selected by their Scientific Board lead by World renowned Potash explorer Robert Hite (exploring for Potash since 1964, responsible for finding some of the largest Potash deposits in North America, and has consulted to the biggest Potash producers in the world. They've privately raised $5 million so far, which was completely closed to public investors. Plus, they've added one of the most impressive boards of directors of all Junior Potash Explorers:
1. Mining executive who has found and produced from one of the largest deposits on the planet. - Will help with financing and
consulting
2. Former Canadian Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade - Will help with potential negotiations to either Chinese or Indian partners/buyers.
3. Mining executive who's responsible for finding another top - world renowned deposit - Will help with
financing and consulting
4. Former Chairman under US President Ronald Reagan, George Bush, and George W. Bush - Will all but guarantee they get both the political support for mining, and a political edge over their competitors in the region.
ALL of these guys have major contacts. Does anyone really believe they would attach their names to a company this small without knowing what the most likely scenario will be?
Does anyone else think this is it for their board, or will they surprise us with additional esteemed
board of directors? We know they are adding to the Scientific board. They've said as much in the news release.
For a tiny little Junior company, I find it amazing that they have been able to recruit such big-time names to their company. The only reasonable assumption I can make is that these guys already know what they have in the ground. Remember, the one major New Mexico project already has 200 historical bore holes, and these guys have the historical data in their possession.
In all my years of
investing, I can honestly say I don't think I've ever been this excited.
