Rich is away

Rich is awayI phoned to speak to Rich, he is travelling and away until Monday.

The company needs to clearify with shareholders if there are any credible potential counter-bids.  Every NR has always indicated there have been several interested parties.  If this is the case management should have thought ahead of time on how to make conditions for a potential bidding war if they had decided to sell out the operations.

I am reluctant to believe there will be another bid, but with a NAV and huge potential resource in Mengo I do think this will make some companies (?Vale) seriously consider the acquisition for more than $115 million.

Will the 35 day time period be sufficient to allow a viable counter-offer?
