I have no idea what the shareprice might get to in the event of a buyout.

Depends on the value agreed upon for OGR. No way to tell really at this point since we don't know what the plan is.

I think it's a good sign that some quality guys are interested in this. What their plans are we can only guess.

Could be takeover or makeover, or JV.

Rio Alto does seem to be in the market for some additional property: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/rio-alto-enters-letter-intent-101001537.html

Takeover, makeover, or JV. Whatever is happening is better than the almost nothing that was happening previously IMO.

I'm so far underwater on this it's not remotely funny. I originally owned Oro Silver then got royally screwed on the 1 for 3, or whatever it was, deal when Oro Gold and Oro Silver merged again. Split em up then merge em again. Idiots.

To add insult to injury, while Oro Gold was valued higher, Oro Silver IMO had the more valuable, or potentially valuable, properties.

So I'm basically just holding on to it for a tax deduction this year. If it looks like something may happen I'll hold on to it for a while longer maybe. No rush to sell. The money's out the window already anyway. If there's a chance I can recoup a few more bucks I'll wait.

I wouldn't mind some more RIO shares. Made a whack of money on it last year.
