If there weren't large sums of money involved

If there weren't large sums of money involved

this would be comical.A few short months ago we were doing cartwheels at breaking a buck. Then 1.25 was a dream come true.Then..........Now we're all p.....d off to be at only 1.40.Don't get me wrong,I am dissappointed.Once we get something,we hate to give it back. It's a loss,if only on paper.

I wonder if i will ever learn the lesson Mr Market often gives me.Like to lock in gains for example.Greed takes over and I feel like"This is the one that's gonna do it for me.The turning point.Ride this baby to retirement".

And then this happens again and again. Not down on mart. The drill potential and especially the pipeline could really be transformative so.....we hang on.Maybe even buy more.Of course that may work out too.But the more I play this game, the more clear it becomes, especially in these times of uncertainty, and in this, the most volatile sector on the planet,a person should really lock in some gains no matter how much you love the story. There is always another place to put that money to use.Mart isn't the only good game in town. Not by a long shot.Anyways, just thinking out loud here.

On yet another bit of bad news,Shaeffer just put out a letter on a number of stocks. He is basically throwing in the towel on Mart already .Not real negative but feels the first run is usually the bestand even though fundamentally things still look good, the momentum has been broken and it is going to be hard to get back on track so he likely won't wait to see how it goes.He knows his stuff but that is only his opinion.I get his NL and know he is not always right.Who is?So while that might cause more pain come tuesday, hopefully we hear some good news soon too.we could sure use it.
