Also, there is the time value of money and uncertainty of future prices which dictate that all known commercial reserves should be extracted ASAP.

For example. OER recently announced a new discovery in their OML 56 play with Ebendo 4 well, extension of the producing zone plus six others.

 

They are completing the first two zones then immediately drilling a new wellmadjacent to test and complete in the others.
