"Thank you for contacting the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), concerning your inquiry about TSX Venture stocks being marginable.
TSX Venture stocks are marginable, however, it is the firms discretion whether they want to provide margin on TSX Venture stocks to their clients."

There are proably very few stocks and very few brokers who provide margin on those stocks but it is possible to get margin on some Venture stocks. It's basically up to the broker.
