RE: RE: bakken My "motivation"?
Simply to try to understand the situation with MMT.
I was hoping they would have said something about whether or not they had been nominating oil for future delivery to maintain the cash flow necessary to support the dividend. They did not, so some uncertainty remains.
I have owned MMT in the past, more than once, and am considering whether or not to buy one more time, maybe as a permanent addition to my portfolio.
I fully agree that if they get all of their issues solved, MMT could be a huge cash cow, definitely capable of increasing their dividend down the road. And if they were successful in acquiring more exploitation assets, the sky could indeed be the limit.
But, as we have witnessed, not everything goes as planned. Thus my hesitation.
I do not need MMT in my portfolio, but at the same time I would pay a higher price once more clarity was provided and the way forward was more certain. I don't like buying stocks "on faith", and my days of gambling are over.
Maybe my questioning some of the claims made on these boards is unwelcome, but I believe I have that right, unless we have suddenly moved to North Korea.
