But I think you can weed out the blatant lying pumpers, from the masses of simple fools, on these boards, as they invariably never say anything negative about the company, and always promise things that are clearly not achievable.
Internet chat boards do have the odd poster who provides some useful information, but I agree it is getting more and more difficult to weed them out. This board never did have very many of those, and even more left after SH decided to mess up their site.
I think holding MMT will be ok now that the bank has given them the green light to continue with the dividend payments, which was a huge vote of confidence in their prospects.
While I don't expect any increase in the dividend as Mart will be faced with an increased tax regime next year, and they are falling further and further behind in their drilling schedule, the existing dividend should eventually pull the share price back over $2.  Mart should not be yielding 12.5%
