Same old same old

Same old same oldNothig new in the Press Release or conference call. This is a good thing to some extent. I projected that revenue was going to be down sizably and it was. I also said that the pipeline losses were going to be crazy and they were. So from my point of view nothing has changed much. It is a shame that Wade trys to still say that from a security point of view nothing can be done. That is a joke. I do beleive that computer sensors and fly by passes could be made. A joint effort must be made by the companies sharing the Agip pipeline and the new pipeline for Mart. To say this cant be done is obmitting that he is not able to negoiate with others in the area. My point is..many other companies ALL over the world operate in different kinds of suituations some better and some worse. They look after there balance sheets and shareholders by implementing security. The sensors and computer software needed are a one time cost and pays for itself almost right away. The light weight helicopter that is usually used for this kind of patrolling is inexpensive and again is usually leased. They simply send the helicopter over daily for passes and if the remote sensors are tripped then they have a destination to fly over to check.
This could be a very good thing for the country and all stakeholders. It would improve the flow of oil, reduce enviromental damages etc.  The local rivers are used by villages for drinking water which as of this year are very polluted.

These measures divided by the companies using the pipelines would see benifts upon implementation. Just refer to the many other companies employing similar technics.

I will leave readers with this last thought.  If we listen to Wade from recent to many other past conference calls we can hear that he is only focused on increasing the flow of barrels. I would point out that a factor not disccused by others is: While losses continue and sometimes grow, they MUST be added in the overal numbers for determining the overal cost (expenses) on a per barrel price. Since we are lossing oil and seeing the revenue plus continuing pumping depleates the feilds it is a serious factor. I realize the feilds/basins are larger but we should not forget that many other oil companies are not even producing what Mart is constantly losing.

I am buying a 1/4 position here at 1.26 leaving room for more later on if this price does not hold.
