So what happens SP today then?

Excuse my ignorance on this, but today being Ex date for the dividend, does that mean, other things being equal we should have been down 10c at open today? Or is it the people holding at close that get the divident so we can expect a drop of 10c tomorrow??

Wudy, 7/19 was the EX dividend date for the .10 dividend...that means you had to own the stock before the 19th to qualify for the .10 dividend. You can sell anytime AFTER the the Ex dividend date and still get the dividend. I am wondering when the next EX div date will be for the .05 dividend? As all can see, as good as this stock is, a general sell off in the markets ...more

Sorry for the Q, but not 100% sure.. Is it the 23rd or 21st? I got my wires crossed.. So if anything was sold today then no divy?

Wudy, My accounts are with Schwab, this is on their web site for MMT, I called and spoke to one of their brokers and she assured me this info is right.
