Sedar is showing a few filings by MTO on Friday, all having to do with the annual meeting. Not sure if that is what caused the halt or if more news is coming. My TD account is still showing MTO as being halted.
For what it is worth, my Webbroker account displays technical analysis info for individual stocks. Since Oct 17, eight positive signals have been given (four of which were triggered on the 28th). Six of the eight are short term indicators but an intermediate one and a longterm one were also triggered (both on Fri). The analysis is not always accurate but, when many positive signals are given in a short period of time, it does usually lead to a bump in the associated share price.
