Only problem with volume

Is we will start getting a lot of day Traders and manipulators that will dump right before the end of the day bringing the price back down

Volume might get you two steps forward, one step back, but no volume doesn't even get you one step forward. I'll side with volume.

Not so certain. You need volume as it shows people are intersted. How do you know that an institution is not buying shares at this price. When there is minimal volume, the stock does nothing and no one wants a piece of it.
