Horne River gas to go to Kitimat

Horne River gas to go to KitimatIt's very unlikely that MGX Mackenzie valley gas play would flow to Kitimat as the tie-in would somehow need to get regulatory approval prior to the MacKenzie Valley Pipeline application.

If interested you should to refer to the PNG presentation link provided below. As detailed in the presentation, the Kitimat destined gas is coming from the Horne River basin and also from the Montenay basin plays. The only way to get MGX's gas to Kitimat is significantly complete the MVP and then terminal a link into the PNG pipeline network. As MVP is partnered through the TransCanada/Imperial Oil consortium, it's unlikely that TransCanada would want to supply gas to PNG's pipeline; PNG is a direct competitor to TransCanada.
