Mr. Riddell you can do better than that

The good stockholders in Canada can not be to happy with your offer

first I don't see a formal offer as yet and when and if we receive a formal offer we are being told that a search for partner clause will be part of it, so the search will continue. we all know that major oil companies are selling assets and picking their growth properties and planning to cut costs, so it makes sense that finding a partner in this new oil and gas world would pose some ...more

shambano1 Think you could be wrong on some points, first work has to be done with in so many years and only one block has did that. Now the blocks that have not been drilled should return to the government or who ever leased them. Another point is alot of people in Canada have money tied up in MGM and i would think getting a few pennys on the dollar back could pee them off. I know Mr. Riddle has ...more

yes I agree that POU will need to spend money to maintain the leases and I'm not 100% sure what the committments are i.e. do they have to drill or can they spend money in other ways, but I there is still time to make those decisions. as far as the TCF of gas, there is no further spending required unless they want ot increase reserves ad get ready to pipeline committments which are still a few ...more

riddell and pou already made a killing on mgm back in 2007 when they spun it out for over 20x what it now trades at, lol. now he gets to buy it back for somewhere between .15-.20 , mgm doesn't have much choice.riddell is very smart and is actually doing mgm a huge favor by setting a floor for mgm share price. he will not overpay though, you can take that to the bank. all the big players in ...more

Mr Riddell knows what we know, MGX  has tons of future NG and no way to get it to market, and they have potential for lots of shale oil but they need major infrastructure and lower drilling costs to make money on it. MGM is a spec play plain and simple and Mr Riddell doesn't owe the people of Canada or more precisely MGM shareholders of which he is the biggest anything above a fair price ...more

Mr. Riddell is quite old and this maybe the last thing he does for his legacy. The way the stock flash tanked to 4 cents last year tell me alot about the stock. Does he want to be remembered as a person who screwed the small time investors, or does he want to be  remembered as a person who built wealth for him and others too? For them to spin off MGX for $2-$6, now saying it worth less than ...more
