RE:Follow up re: stock manipulationShaker: The point I was making, is Yes. The securities commissions can tell if illegal coordinated or wash trading is happening. It is the responsibility of the brokerage houses to keep track and stop any such bad behavior. Of interest, Stochouse is often used by short term traders to coordinate their trading efforts. Trolling or pumping a stock by a leader enables a group to act as one person and manipulate the stock market. This is why we see dirty fighting on stockhouse.
The point is be aware of what is going on. Illegal activity is easy to spot with some posters on stockhouse as they are not well enough informed to stay clear of illegal statements.
