WILL B.C. MOVE FORWARD WITH - HYDROGEN ENERGY ?

Or will they become dependent upon the energy state of Alberta ?
Alberta is investing mega bucks into new energies... while B.C. lags behind.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/federal-alberta-governments-pour-461-million-into-edmonton-hydrogen-plant-1.6645228

Yet the Alberta model above in link...
is using co2 gas injection stroage to distrupt the aquifers inorder to impart hydrogen.
Not the best green energy.... Poses many latter issues of hiding co2 with a quick capture of
hydrogen but potentially creating long term effects with,  carbonic acids in salt water tables that
are in close vicinity to clean water tables going down - columb.
Does the driftwood have a salt magnesium or an oxide ?
Salt works wonderful with water to produce hydrogen.

Metal magnesium also works wonderful to produce hydrogen - reduces to oxide.
Remelting the oxide magnesium back to metal and repeating = renewable energy.

BUT....
Would an oxide work from the get go ?
How about a nano oxide ?
