You guys may want to check out www.drillfunder.com.
I just spoke to their CFO and they are a legit start-up out of Waterloo and Vancouver. Their background is mainly in tech but they have a lot of contacts in the junior mining industry. The drillfunder platform allows us to become early stage investors in mining/oil exploration companies and even become co-founders on a new property or project. We can interact with the geologists and even visit the property in some cases.
It's possible to get huge returns and even get out when the company gets listed on the venture exchange. I've signed up. Feel free to ping me if you want more info as I receive it.
